Slate’s customers will now have access to a more transparent, simpler service through RepairPal service centers. These will be located in the neighborhoods where Slate customers reside.
Slate’s primary objectives are in customizable and affordable vehicles.
“Slate’s OEM partnership with RepairPal’s nationwide network of service centers will give Slate customers peace of mind, while empowering independent service shops to provide accessorization and service,” said Slate Chief Commercial Officer Jeremy Snyder.
Slate also values the customer’s ability to accessorize, repair, and customize their own vehicles. RepairPal includes a large network of technicians.
For customers who do not wish to install their own accessories, Slate sites will be trained on those procedures.
Nationwide service points will enable customers to schedule services through RepairPal at any of these locations.
Additionally, select service points will receive training on electrical and battery-related repairs, specific to the company’s procedures and high-voltage service.
Currently, around 200 locations nationwide are certified to handle high-voltage repairs on electric vehicles.
The Tesla SuperChargers
Slate drivers will now also have access to Tesla Superchargers, one of the largest national networks of quick chargers in the country.
Charging will occur through the standard NACS port on the driver’s side of the truck.
