The 2020 Global Fleet Virtual Conference is currently underway, with several events scheduled over a five-week period, including a best practice video webinar today, June 3, 2020, titled “Learn from the Best: Globalize your Fleet to Optimize your TCO and Save Costs.”
Speakers for today’s webinar on creating the best possible fleet TCO via globalization includes Jorge Fernández, global category manager car fleet, Roche; Almy Magalhaes, senior procurement manager fleet and travel, Ecolab; and Benjamin Huve; sr. international consultant, business intelligence and consultancy, ALD Automotive.
There will also be an upcoming panel discussion tomorrow, Thursday, June 4, 2020 on industry updates for regions from around the world by global fleet experts. This panel will be presented by Steven Schoefs, chief editor of Global Fleet; Pascal Serres of Nexus Communication; Mike Antich, editor and associate publisher, Automotive Fleet; and Yves Helven; co-founder of CMaaS.
Other upcoming events that are scheduled includes the release of podcast titled “How to Make Your Global Fleet Strengths Work for you in North America,” on Tuesday, June 9, 2020, which will be presented by Schoefs and David Madrigal, EVP & CCO, Element Fleet Management North America.

The Global Fleet Virtual conference began Monday, June 2 and was kicked off by the release of a podcast titled “How to Innovate and Win in Global Procurement,” presented by Schoefs and Virginie Vast, head of procurement innovation and sustainability at Amazon Europe. This podcast can be viewed on demand when you register for the event.
The Global Fleet Virtual Conference 2020 is designed to not only provide essential fleet knowledge, but participants will have the opportunity to network and interact with each other and with their business partners via an easy-to-use event app. Using Attendify, the event app, all participants can reach out to other attendees, and provide feedback for the various modules, all of which can be followed via the app itself, on smartphones, laptops, or desktops.
