2025 Volkswagen ID.4 Pricing Revealed: Starting Costs and Features

2025 Volkswagen ID.4 Entry and S models are available in rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, while the top trim S Plus is reserved for all-wheel-drive models only.

Volkswagen recently announced initial pricing for the 2025 ID.4. Production resumes at the Chattanooga factory with 82 kWh models, which carry a starting MSRP of $45,095 for the rear-wheel-drive Pro and $48,995 for the AWD Pro.
Models with 62 kWh batteries will be available later, and all models will receive additional content starting midyear. Details and pricing on both will come later.
The trim structure for 82 kWh models largely follows 2024. Entry and S models are available in rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, while the top trim S Plus is reserved for all-wheel-drive models only.
Entry Models Deliver Value with Premium Features
Pricing starts at $45,095 MSRP for the rear-wheel-drive Pro and $48,995 for the AWD Pro.
On the exterior, entry models feature:
19-in. alloy wheels on RWD models and 20-in. wheels on AWD models
Gloss black grille
LED head- and taillights
Automatic headlights with rain-sensing wipers
Heated windshield (AWD only) and heated washer nozzles
Heated mirrors
Black roof rails
3-door Keyless Access System (KESSY) with proximity unlocking
Tow hitch (AWD only).
Inside, entry models have a 12.9-in. Discover Pro Max infotainment display with navigation and backlit sliders. Wireless App-Connect (Android Auto, CarPlay, and MirrorLink) and charging with compatible devices are included. Other features include 45W USB-C charging, intuitive voice control, and a 5.3-in. ID. Cockpit.
Driver assistance features include standard IQ.DRIVE, Park Distance Control, Park Assist (Parking Steering Assistant), Dynamic Road Sign Display, and Light Assist (High Beam Control for headlights).
Manual cloth and leatherette seats are heated for front-seat passengers. The entry model also features a dual-zone Climatronic system, 10-color ambient lighting, ID. Light, auto-dimming interior mirror, a stitched dashboard, and a variable cargo floor cover.
Volkswagen Car-Net with Plus Nav and Plus Speech packages are included at no additional charge for three years. SiriusXM with a three-month Platinum Plan trial subscription included.
Pro S Trim Adds Luxury, Tech, and Enhanced Lighting
The rear-wheel-drive Pro S starts at $50,195 MSRP, and the AWD Pro S carries a sticker price of $54,095.
In addition to the equipment set from the entry models, the Pro S and AWD Pro S feature 20-in. wheels, illuminated front and rear VW logo and light line in the front fascia, premium LED projector headlights with Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS), poor weather lights, and mirrors with memory function.
On the interior, the models feature 30-color ambient lighting, perforated leatherette seats, door-panel stitching, heated steering wheel, 12-way power seats with memory, ventilated front seats, rear-seat pass-through, center armrest with cupholders, panoramic fixed glass roof with electric sunshade, and a power tailgate with Easy Open and Close.
Pro S Plus Brings Premium Upgrades and AWD Performance
For 2025, the Pro S Plus is only available with all-wheel drive at a starting MSRP of $57,295.
Outside, features build on the S models with 21-in. wheels, a black roof with silver roof accents, C-pillar, and roof rails, silver accents on front and rear bumpers, and power-folding mirrors with signature lighting.
Additional features include heated rear seats, three-zone Climatronic, Harman Kardon premium audio with 14 total speakers (including a subwoofer), and Area View (Overhead View Camera).
