Mid-Atlantic Advanced Transportation Summit to Explore Fleet Fuels, Infrastructure, and Transportation Innovation
Fleet Forward Conference expands collaboration with Clean Cities organizations as part of a broader effort to connect fleet leaders with emerging transportation technologies and strategies.

James Madison University's Atlantic Union Bank Center in Harrisonburg, Virginia, will host the Mid-Atlantic Advanced Transportation Summit & Expo (MAATSE) July 21-23, bringing together fleet and transportation industry leaders.
Virginia Clean Cities Coalition
Fleet professionals interested in alternative fuels, infrastructure planning, freight innovation, and transportation policy will have an opportunity to engage with industry experts this summer at the Mid-Atlantic Advanced Transportation Summit & Expo (MAATSE), taking place July 21-23 at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
The event is organized by the Mid-Atlantic Clean Cities and Communities Expansion (MACCCE) initiative and will bring together fleet operators, policymakers, utilities, researchers, transportation providers, and technology experts to discuss the future of transportation across the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond.
FFC and Clean Cities
As Fleet Forward Conference continues to expand its partnerships with Clean Cities and Communities coalitions nationwide, MAATSE represents an opportunity for fleet professionals to engage with many of the same organizations helping shape the transportation energy transition at the regional level.
Those conversations will continue at Fleet Forward Conference 2026, Oct. 20-22 at Gaylord National Harbor in Maryland, where Clean Cities leaders from across the country are expected to participate in educational sessions focused on transportation innovation, fleet strategy, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
"Organizations like MACCCE and the regional Clean Cities coalitions play a vital role in helping fleets navigate evolving technologies, fuels, infrastructure, and policy considerations," said Chris Brown, conference chair of Fleet Forward Conference. "We see tremendous value in bringing those perspectives to both MAATSE and Fleet Forward as fleets evaluate the opportunities and challenges ahead."
MAATSE Agenda
MAATSE's agenda includes keynote presentations, panel discussions, workshops, technology demonstrations, and networking opportunities. Featured topics include transportation policy, alternative fuel corridors, fleet fuel transitions, public-private partnerships, renewable fuels, freight efficiency, aviation innovation, and infrastructure planning.
Pre-conference training opportunities include Propane Autogas Vehicle Technician Training and NAFA's Sustainable Fleet Manager Certification program.
According to conference organizers, the event is designed to help attendees move from strategy to implementation by connecting policy, technology, financing, and operational best practices.
Additional information and registration details are available at www.maccce.org/conference.
