NAFA-The Fleet Management Association will collocate its Fleet Safety Symposium with the 2026 Fleet Forward Conference, convening Oct. 19 at the Gaylord National Harbor in Maryland.
Scheduled for the day before the Fleet Forward Conference opens, the Fleet Safety Symposium is a dynamic, interactive certificate program designed to help fleet organizations strengthen safety culture, improve driver engagement, and better understand the evolving role of technology in fleet safety operations.
“The collocation creates a natural bridge between NAFA’s dedication to fleet safety and the Fleet Forward Conference’s safety programming and the future of fleet operations,” said Bill Schankel, CEO of NAFA.
The symposium will feature expert-led discussions, networking opportunities, and practical guidance designed to help fleet professionals implement actionable safety strategies within their organizations.
NAFA will also debut its new Fleet Safety Awards program and recognize its top Safest Fleets during the program.
The Fleet Safety Symposium certificate program includes:
- Fleet Safety Guidebook (digital) and Study Guide
- Online certification exam (first sitting included)
- Certificate awarded to participants who pass the online exam within one year of registration
“Fleet safety is becoming increasingly intertwined with technology, data, vehicle design, and organizational culture,” said Chris Brown, FFC’s conference chair. “Having NAFA’s Fleet Safety Symposium launch at the start of FFC creates a strong educational foundation for the broader conversations happening throughout the conference.”
Registration for the NAFA Fleet Safety Symposium will open in June.
