Merchants Fleet has expanded its maintenance partnership with Pep Boys, increasing the automotive service provider's role within its national maintenance network. The updated agreement builds on a 30-year relationship between the two companies.
As part of the expanded partnership, Merchants Fleet will route a greater share of maintenance work to Pep Boys locations while increasing collaboration on service delivery and operational coordination.
According to the companies, the expanded relationship is intended to improve consistency across maintenance operations and support faster vehicle turnaround times. The organizations also plan to work more closely on performance management, operational planning, and long-term maintenance strategies.
The partnership is part of Merchants Fleet's broader maintenance network strategy, which focuses on connecting fleet customers with national service providers to support vehicle availability and maintenance operations.
