Kia Announces Pricing for First-Ever Telluride HEV

Kia announced pricing for the company's debut hybrid SUV in 2027.

Kia announced pricing for the first-ever 2027 Kia Telluride hybrid SUV. The 3-row vehicle has an MSRP for a FWD EX trim starting below $47,0001. The turbo hybrid powertrain has an EPA-estimated 35mpg combined and a total driving range of 637 miles³ on the EX FWD-trim.

The Telluride HEV combines the 2.5-liter turbo powertrain with a 1.65-kWh lithium-ion battery and electric motors, delivering a combined 329 horsepower and 339 pound-feet of torque. of torque. That’s up to a 38-hp increase over the powerplant in the previous Telluride (291 hp) and 77 pounds-feet. more torque (262 pound-feet).

The hybrid powertrain uses a 6-speed automatic transmission and sends power to an all-wheel-drive system.  The hybrid comes standard with EV motion control. This system is designed to help the driver achieve improved handling and stability by leveraging brake and motor control. The result is sophisticated power delivery and handling dynamics in a quiet ride.

Offered in EX, SX, X-Line SX, SX-Prestige, and X-Line SX-Prestige trims, pricing for the all-new Telluride HEV is as follows and excludes destination charges of $1,545:

  • EX, FWD: $46,490

  • EX, AWD: $48,490

  • SX, FWD: $51,490                                                                            

  • X-Line SX, AWD: $54,490

  • SX-P, AWD: $56,590

  • X-Line SX-P, AWD: $57,590

The 2027 Kia Telluride HEV is assembled at Kia’s West Point plant in Georgia.
