Jaguar's XE entry luxury sedan will receive significant updates for 2020 including an enhanced exterior design, new interior materials and layout, and advanced infotainment technologies in an effort to make it more competitive in the segment. Jaguar has been offering a fleet incentive for executive drivers, since introducing it in 2015 as a 2016 model.

Jaguar is adding an optional InControl Touch Pro Duo infotainment system and 12.3-inch interactive driver display that can also be found in the battery-electric Jaguar I-Pace. The system uses two stacked dashboard screens to delivery an array of driving data.

All models will receive an enhanced exterior design that offers a more assertive appearance with new front and rear bumpers, new grille design, and LED headlights and tail lights with LED signatures as standard. The interior adds standard leather upholstered seats and soft touch materials throughout.

The 2020 XE carries over its two four-cylinder gasoline engine choices that include the 247-horsepower P250 and 296-hp P300 models.

The vehicle, which is on sale now, retails for at least $40,895 for the rear-wheel S P250. The R-Dynamic S P300 with all-wheel drive and the more powerful engine retails for $47,290.

In 2018, Jaguar sold 4,704 XE sedans in a category that was led by the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, which sold 54,829 units.
