Alicia Boler Davis has officially been named president of Ford Pro.
Effective October 1, 2025, Davis will take over for Andrew Frick who has been serving interim in wake of Ted Cannis’ departure. Frick returns full-time to his previous role leading Ford Blue and Ford Model e.
Davis is no stranger to tech, auto, and customer operations, so it’s no surprise that three decades of industry leadership has led her here.
Alicia Davis: What You Should Know
Davis previously worked as a manufacturing engineer at GM where she managed labor relations and global manufacturing, following in the footsteps of generations before her. Davis was born in Detroit where her father and grandfather worked at Ford for many years.
In congruence with her global role at GM Davis scaled global fulfillment operations at Amazon, where she also advanced robotics. Even more impressive? This was during the height of the pandemic.
Most recently, she worked as the CEO of Alto Pharmacy where she helped lead the company to acquisition. Davis has proved to be quite the veteran industry leader, quick on her feet and prioritizing real-world impact.
She added in a Ford news item, “If I had to create a role in the auto industry that would best utilize my experiences in both automotive and technology, it would be leading Ford Pro at this pivotal time.”
Whose Shoes is Davis Filling?
Ted Cannis is the founding CEO of Ford Pro, the automaker’s commercial vehicle segment.
Cannis launched Ford Pro back in 2021 and has since scaled it into a $70 billion business dedicated to software, services, and commercial vehicles.
Revenue numbers from just last year marks a 15% growth rate from year to year, which accounts for roughly 26% of the company’s total revenue.
Andrew Frick, interim for Ted Cannis after his retirement, helped deliver similar numbers and grew market share across both North America and Europe.
Davis is excited for this next move in her career. “I’m thrilled to return to a city and an industry that has meant so much to me and join an iconic company like Ford,” Davis said. “In many ways, my experiences and all I have learned in 30-plus years at GM, Amazon and Alto, have led to this opportunity to help Ford Pro reach its potential.”
