2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid Arrives at Dealerships

The 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid is available for sale at dealerships, according to a Honda announcement.
The hybrid model brings with it a 40 mpg EPA city/35 mpg highway/38 mpg combined fuel economy rating, better off-the-line-acceleration, and Honda’s latest generation two-motor hybrid technology, according to the company.
The hybrid CR-V will come standard with AWD and Honda Sensing and have an MSRP of $27,750.
Honda Sensing includes a collision mitigation braking system with forward collision warning and pedestrian sensing capability; road departure mitigation with lane departure warning; and adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow and lane keeping assist.
The two-motor hybrid system that powers the 2020 CR-V Hybrid is similar to the one used in the Honda Accord Hybrid, according to Honda. The system found in the 2020 CR-V Hybrid does included advancements to operating range that enable more time in EV mode compared to previous Honda hybrids.
The vehicle’s 2.0L DOHC i-VTEC Atkinson-cycle engine combined with an electric propulsion motor produces a total system output of 212 hp and 232 lb.-ft. of torque.
