Honda Passport, Pilot Recalled for Certification Label
Honda Passport, Pilot Recalled for Certification Label

American Honda Motor Co. is recalling approximately 10,050 2020 Passport and Pilot vehicles because the certification label may have been printed with ink that can be wiped away with a solvent, removing the Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) and Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) information.

In the event the driver is unable to refer to the label information, the vehicle may be overloaded, which increases the likelihood of a collision.

To fix the problem, Honda will notify owners, and dealers will replace the certification label, at no cost to owners.

Owners can reach Honda customer service at (888) 234-2138.

The recall begins March 17. Honda's reference number for this recall is B6T.
