Fleet registrations in Switzerland grew by 24.6%, year on year, reflecting the first month of growth for the region after months of declines seen this year.

Growth on the month was boosted as a result of a weak month in the previous year which saw the introduction of Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP), leading to supply bottlenecks restricting the number of registrations, according to Dataforce.

The top-ranking fleet models on the month were led by the Skoda Octavia, followed by the Opel Crossland X and then the Citroen C3.

Fleet’s saw strength in various regions across the country as well. For example, the Lake Geneva Region recorded significant growth with 81.8%.

Meanwhile, short-term rental companies and dealers and manufactures also saw an increase on the month, rounding off the positive overall picture for the country.
