Largay was 75 years old.
Largay was a veteran of the automotive industry and throughout his career held various positions at companies such as Ford Motor Co.; National Car Rental; Wheels, Inc.; AngloAmerican, which was later known as ADT Automotive after an acquisition; and Manheim.
He was also involved with industry associations. In 1981, Largay was named president of the Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA).
Largay’s most recent roles revolved around the remarketing industry at ADT Automotive and Manheim.
At ADT Automotive Largay acted as director of marketing and advertising. In October 2000, following Manheim’s acquisition of ADT Automotive, Largay became director of communications for Manheim.
One of Largay’s accomplishments during his time at Manheim was contributing to the creation and development of the company’s Used Car Market Report, an annual publication that provides insights into the remarketing industry.
Largay is survived for his wife Mary Largay; his daughter Kerry Bauchiero; his son Ryan Largay; step daughter Erin Moore; sister Cathy McCarthy; and four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
