The 2026 Toyota Tundra includes updates to its interior, technology and performance features. Changes focus on enhancing capability, comfort and convenience for a wide range of driving needs.

Interior Updates

For 2026, the Capstone grade introduces Shale Premium Textured leather-trimmed seats. The Limited grade will now feature leather-trimmed seating in black or grey, with contrasting stitching.

Comfort and Climate Control

Double cab models now feature rear air vents on the center console. All single-zone climate control grades gain the smartflow management system.

Fuel Tank and Standard Equipment

All Tundra models now come with a 32.2-gallon fuel tank, eliminating the smaller option. A tow hitch and 7/4 pin connector are standard across all grades, including SR.

Powertrain Options

Two powertrains are offered:

• i-FORCE twin-turbo V6: 389 horsepower, 479 lb.-ft. of torque.

• i-FORCE MAX hybrid twin-turbo V6: 437 net horsepower at 5,200 rpm, 583 lb.-ft. of torque at 2,400 rpm.

Both are paired with a 10-speed Electronically Controlled Automatic Transmission with sequential shift mode, uphill/downhill shift logic and TOW/HAUL driving modes.

The i-FORCE MAX combines the V6 with a motor generator inside the bell housing, handling start-up, EV driving, electric assist and regenerative functions.

Assembly and Construction

The Tundra is built at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas in San Antonio. The chassis uses high-strength steel for rigidity, with aluminum in key areas to reduce weight. Hydraulic cab mounts are added on Limited and higher trims for improved ride comfort.

The bed uses sheet-molded compound with aluminum reinforcing cross members for durability. All models feature a power release tailgate; a power close option with knee-lift assist is available.

Standard Safety Technology

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 is standard across all trims, including:

• Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection

• Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control

• Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist

• Lane Tracing Assist

• Road Sign Assist

• Automatic High Beams

Additional features include Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and available Front and Rear Parking Assist with Automatic Braking. All models include a Rear Seat Reminder system.

Audio and Connectivity

Toyota’s Audio Multimedia system includes a standard 8-inch touchscreen or an optional 14-inch screen. Features include pinch-and-zoom touch controls, a physical audio volume dial and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The system supports voice commands activated by “Hey/Hi/Hello/OK Toyota.” A one-year trial of Drive Connect is included with the 14-inch system.

Warranty and Maintenance

Coverage includes a 36-month/36,000-mile basic warranty, a 60-month/60,000-mile powertrain warranty and 60-month corrosion coverage with no mileage limit. ToyotaCare provides factory-scheduled maintenance and 24-hour roadside assistance for two years or 25,000 miles.
