Experts Webinar to Cover Cost & Opportunity Metrics of Idling Engines in Fleets

GoGreen Communications Inc., which specializes in idle reduction training, certification and branding of corporate fleets of vehicles is gathering decades of collective fleet management expertise to expose the costs of driver idling behavior in an experts webinar Sept. 17, 2020.

Fleet management experts and thought leaders such as Mike Antich, associate publisher & editor at Automotive Fleet magazine and past president for the Automotive Fleet Leasing & Association (AFLA), and George Survant, principal, Fleet Mace consulting, will join Zima for an in-depth exploration of the astounding cost and opportunity metrics of idle reduction in fleets of vehicles.

“Based on extensive research and work with fleets across the U.S. and Canada, it is GoGreen’s view that the typical North American fleet operator spends about 40% of its engine hours on driver idling behavior, for zero milage and minimal if any business benefit,” said Ron Zima, CEO of GoGreen.

Further, GoGreen argues that reducing driver idling behavior represents an enormous opportunity in three ways at this moment in time.

“That’s because it’s an all-in-one cost reduction, greenhouse gas reduction and air pollution reduction strategy for fleet operators to manage an economic crisis, while addressing accelerated climate change and air quality during a lung virus pandemic,” Zima said.

The webinar is presented by Bergstrom Inc. leaders in idle reduction HVAC technologies for fleet operators and OEMs. No-cost registration for the event on Sept. 17, 2020 is available now. Register here.
