Zytax Announces General Availability of ZMS Compliance 5

HOUSTON - This major release of the company's flagship product automates the end-to-end motor fuels tax filing process for large and small filers and is now available as a Software as a Service (SaaS).

HOUSTON - Zytax, a wholly-owned subsidiary of FuelQuest and leading supplier of indirect tax automation software, announced today the general availability of Zytax ZMS Compliance 5.  This major release of its flagship product automates the end-to-end motor fuels tax filing process for large and small filers and is now available as a Software as a Service (SaaS).  With ZMS Compliance 5, customers can gain greater tax filing consistency and reliability while reducing processing costs and risks.

Zytax ZMS Compliance 5 automates transactional import, schedule and return generation, and multi-format filing including EDI, XML, Excel, and paper.  Zytax also provides automated updates of the constantly changing rates, rules, and forms for all major jurisdictions, driving greater filing accuracy. Key new features include:

Software as a Service - Enables secure, web-based filing of motor fuels excise taxes with minimal IT investment

Enhanced Troubleshooting - Simplifies identification and update of schedule transaction, return, and filing errors with context sensitive help

Dynamic Workflows - Enables customizable workflow automation for business processes associated with fuel tax filing including review, approval, and event notification

Common Platform - Provides a single repository for rates, forms, and rules across all Zytax products and delivers enhanced security, performance, multi-user support, and audit logging.
