VinFast Canada Offers Free Charging & Tech Services for New Customers

The on-the-road charging offer delivers three years of unlimited complimentary charging sessions using VinFast’s Canadian public charging partner ChargeHub, which currently operates more than 6,000 Level-2 and more than 800 Level-3 charging stations across Canada.

Vietnamese global all-electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast offers new Canadian customers free at-home or on-the-road charging solutions, equipment, and other technology services from May 31 to September 30.

The VinFast Charged-Up program in Canada applies to reservations for VinFast SUV models VF 8 and VF 9, providing a one-year free subscription to the VinFast Smart Driving package.

The at-home charging offer features a VinFast Level-2 Home Charger valued at $849 CAD and a $1,000 credit towards home installation by Qmerit, VinFast Canada’s installation partner.

According to the manufacturer, the VinFast Home Charger can charge 40% faster than the standard mobile charger and provides features such as adjustable charging speeds, Wi-Fi connectivity and additional smart features currently in development.

In addition, all VinFast Charged-Up customers receive a free one-year VinFast Smart Driving package, including Level 2+ Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Smart Services suite.

The VinFast Smart Driving package features include automated lane changing assist, smart parking assist, remote parking assist, smart summon mode level 2 (OTA update after customers receive vehicles), voice assistants (including Cerence and Alexa), geo-fencing, time-fencing, live traffic, satellite view, in-car shopping, mobile home and office enabling virtual assistant, streaming apps, games, web browsers, and smart home control.

Customers who purchase VinFast VF 8 or VF 9 vehicles in 2022 and 2023 will receive a permanent battery subscription rate for the entire vehicle lifetime.
