Summit Truck Group, LLC acquired an Isuzu franchise from Jenkins Diesel in Springfield, Mo.
Summit has incorporated the Isuzu sales, parts, and service offerings into the existing Summit of Springfield MO International Truck dealership.
Summit already sells Isuzu products at dealerships located in Lowell, Ark., Memphis, Tenn., and Oklahoma City, and supports the Isuzu product line with parts and non-warranty service at all Summit locations.
“Jenkins Diesel has a long history of serving the Springfield area since 1956,” said Summit CFO Scott Gill, “and we will continue that tradition of customer service as we incorporate their Isuzu business into our existing Springfield dealership.”
Justin Fink, Summit CEO added, “Our parts, service, and sales teams are already familiar with the Isuzu product line, so we anticipate a smooth transition of adding this product line to the Springfield dealership. The Isuzu product focuses on providing products for small businesses such as landscapers, plumbers, electricians, florists, caterers, and similar service providers. We look forward to serving all of our Springfield area customers with this additional product line.”
Summit does not anticipate hiring any additional staff as a result of this acquisition.
