Registration for the 2020 Fleet Safety Experience, an all-new virtual fleet safety event hosted online Nov. 16 - 19, 2020, is available now along with details of the conference sessions.
Fleet professionals can register for the event now, which serves as a virtual counterpart of Fleet Safety Conference, was designed for immediate fleet safety industry needs but built as a long-term solution. Attendance for the Fleet Safety Experience is free exclusively for fleets; suppliers can attend via a registration fee.
Sessions at the virtual conference will be divided into light-duty segments and medium- and heavy-duty content. Networking sessions will be held for both segments through the week of the virtual conference.
The Fleet Safety Experience will begin with a keynote address from Art Liggio, CEO/president of Driving Dynamics and recent 2020 Fleet Hall of Fame inductee, who will explain how modifying driver behavior is required to maximize the effectiveness of safety technologies and a fleet’s safety program. The first day will also a feature panel titled “Best Practices to Take Your Safety Program from Good to Great,” sponsored by Merchants Fleet; and a session on how to cope with a fleet fatality or serious injury, which will be hosted by Phil Moser associate director of Global Driver Safety, Syneos Health Commercial Solutions.
The second day will include a panel discussion on how to take the universal fleet collision problem and implement crash avoidance solutions, which is sponsored by Merchants Fleet. Following is a session titled “Best Practices in Managing High-Risk Drivers,” that will feature John Dmochowsky, Co-Founder, JC Global Fleet Consulting; Bob Mossing, senior manager, global fleet administration, STERIS Corporation; Sonya Girard, fleet manager, IDEXX; and Kathy Wellik, CAFM, director of fleet, Iowa State University.
The third day, will highlight the winners of the 2020 Fleet Safety award and 2020 Safety & Compliance Award, while the final day will round out with a session on asset-based vs. driver-based fleet safety programs, hosted by Mike Antich, editor, Automotive Fleet. Additional sessions will be announced leading up to the conference.
