Superior Energy Systems’ electronic propane autogas fuel dispensers have received across-the-board Canadian Standards Association (CSA) listings per Underwriters Laboratories UL 495 and CAN1-12.4 standards.
This means the PRO-Vend 1000; the web-based, customizable PRO-Vend 2000; and the efficient PRO-Vend 1500 and 2500 dual-hose propane autogas dispensers can now be placed on fueling islands alongside gasoline and diesel, in either private fleet or centralized fueling locations in the U.S. and Canada. In addition to creating added fueling convenience, the listings also signify they meet all National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards for approved propane autogas dispensers, according to the company.

The listings also include approval of the dispensers’ mass flow meter technology, which virtually eliminates unaccounted fuel that slips through the worn moving parts of mechanical meters. Superior Energy Systems said its propane autogas dispensers use anti-corrosive, stainless-steel coriolis mass flow meters.
Superior Energy Systems’ electronic propane autogas dispensers also previously received the National Type Evaluation Program (NTEP) certification from the National Conference of Weights and Measures, and are fully NTEP-certified for every state in the U.S. Certification signifies proof of accurate fueling costs based on local weights and measures requirements, according to the company.
Superior Energy Systems provides web-based e-commerce and a fully integrated fuel management system through its PRO-Vend 2000 and 2500 dispensers. The system tracks vehicle and driver identification, vehicle mileage and fuel usage, and creates customizable reports. In centralized fuel systems, both dispensers offer unlimited customer identification. Web-based e-commerce is also an easy upgrade for the PRO-Vend 1000 and PRO-Vend 1500 dispensers, according to the company.
In addition to its PRO-Vend electronic dispensers, Superior Energy Systems manufactures mechanical dispensers, such as the PRO-Vend 3000 for stationary applications and the 3000P for portable applications.
