The 2020 911 Carrera S and 911 Carrera 4S are powered by a turbocharged flat-six engine that produces 443 horsepower, a 29-hp increase over the previous model. A new eight-speed dual-clutch transmission was developed for power delivery, with a maximum speed of 191 mph.

The type 992 911 also arrives with wider wheel wells for 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels. The front is significantly wider than previous years (by 45mm), and is accented by new LED headlights. In the rear you have a wider, variable-position spoiler topped off with a wrapping, seamless light bar.

The interior is everything you would expect from Porsche, featuring clear, straight lines, recessed instruments, multiple information displays, and a 10.9-inch center screen. The center screen can be operated quickly and without distraction thanks to the new architecture, according to a release from the automaker.

Enhanced safety features include Porsche Wet Mode that comes standard. The camera-based system warns the driver about wet road conditions and prepares for braking. Optional features include a Night Vision Assist with a thermal imaging camera, as well as an adaptive cruise control system with automatic distance control.

Porsche will also offer several companion apps, including Porsche Road Trip that helps drivers plan, organize, and navigate their road trips. Porsche 360+ is a personal lifestyle assistant that is available to customers around the clock. Finally Porsche Impact is an emissions calculator that can be used to to determine the financial contributions that Porsche customers can pay to offset their CO2 footprint.
