NTEA Names New Board of Trustees

The National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) announced the election of five new members to its board of trustees.

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI — The National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA), an association supporting the commercial truck and transportation equipment industry, announced on February 18 the election of three new members to the NTEA Board of Trustees. The new Trustees will be installed at the 41st Annual NTEA Convention (March 2–4, 2005) held in conjunction with The Work Truck Show 2005 (Indianapolis, Ind.). Their three-year terms begin at that time. One Distributor Trustee was elected: Trip Forman, president of Pick Up Pals, Inc. (Lubbock, Texas). Two Manufacturer Trustees were elected: Mark Boice, president of Warner Bodies (Noblesville, Ind.) and Allen Birmingham, national sales manager of Tommy Gate Co. (Phoenix, Ariz.). Also serving on the 2005–2006 Board are Executive Committee Members: President Mike Frizzell, president of Royal Truck Body — River City (Sacramento, Calif.); First Vice President Robert S. Green, president of Robert Green Truck Div., Inc. (Rock Hill, NY); Second Vice President Tom Rawson, CEO of RKI, Inc., (Houston, Texas); Third Vice President and Treasurer Jim Kraschinsky, president of Stahl/A Scott Fetzer Co. (Wooster, OH); and NTEA Executive Director and Secretary Jim Carney. Serving alongside Executive Committee members are Distributor Trustees Stan Coveleskie, vice president of Knapheide Truck Equipment Co. – Southeast (Largo, Fla.); Dennis Jones, vice president of sales and marketing for Auto Truck, Inc. (Roanoke, Ind.); Chuck Kimmel, president of Allied Truck Equipment (Grand Rapids, Mich.); J. Scott Rainey, executive vice president of Fallsway Equipment Co., Inc. (Akron, Ohio); Steven Sill, president of Aspen Equipment Co. (Bloomington, Minn.); and Manufacturer Trustee Harley Westfall, president of Adrian Steel Co. (Adrian, Mich.). Established in 1964, NTEA is an association supporting the commercial truck and transportation equipment industry. The association currently represents nearly 1,600 companies that manufacture, distribute, install, sell and repair commercial trucks, truck bodies, truck equipment, trailers and accessories. Buyers of work trucks and the major commercial truck chassis manufacturers also belong to the association.
