In this episode, the project starts to feel less like a box of parts and more like a real race car. Gabriel, Matthew, Angel, and the rest of the student team are doing the hard work: solving problems, figuring out the build, and turning an idea into something that will actually roll down the hill in Akron.

Check the Corporate Derby Page for more information.

This episode is also about what’s powering Team Brown beyond the build itself: the sponsors. Every sponsorship helps support The Hourglass Foundation, which funds scholarships for students pursuing careers in automotive technology and the skilled trades. So yes, this is about racing downhill. But it’s also about helping someone else build a career.

There’s still paint, graphics, testing, and race day ahead. Thanks for following along. I’ll see you next episode, and you’ll see me at the starting line. The race is Aug. 21 at the International Soap Box Derby in Akron!
