NTEA, the Association for the Work Truck Industry, will host its annual meeting, renamed the Commercial Vehicle Upfitting Summit, Sept. 13-14 at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Sandusky, Ohio.
Known formerly as the Truck Product Conference, the summit aims to bring together the upfitter community and commercial vehicle chassis manufacturer technical and engineering experts.
The two-day meeting’s new name was chosen to better reflect the event’s program scope and intent, which now focuses on upfitter and equipment manufacturer technical needs, according to Kevin Koester, NTEA managing director.

The summit will present important changes to powertrains, electrical systems, chassis structures and other vehicle systems. Attendees can preview commercial vehicle updates and engage directly with OEM engineers, technical representatives and product specialists on critical upfitting issues, according to NTEA.
