Nissan Refreshes Maxima, Murano with Safety Tech
Nissan is expanding safety technology in its lineup, and will offer its Safety Shield 360 bundle to the 2019 Maxima midsize sedan and Murano midsize SUV in a midcycle refresh of those vehicles ahead of a plan to add it to every model by 2021, Nissan announced at the LA Auto Show.

Nissan is expanding safety technology in its lineup, and will offer its Safety Shield 360 bundle to the 2019 Maxima midsize sedan and Murano midsize SUV in a midcycle refresh of those vehicles ahead of a plan to add it to every model by 2021, Nissan announced at the LA Auto Show.
Nissan has previously added the safety technology to the 2019 Rogue, Rogue Sport, and Altima. The suite of advanced driver-assist systems is comprised of automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, a blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, adaptive headlights, and rear automatic braking. It will be offered on certain trim models. The 2019 Altima includes it on SV and above.

The 2019 Maxima adds an updated exterior appearance and interior cabin upgrades. New features on the Murano include a styling facelift, a rear-seat alert, and LED fog lights. Optional technology includes traffic sign recognition and lane keeping assist.
The 2019 Maxima and Murano models are set to go on sale in December.
