Nissan has released 2019-model-year pricing for its Rogue Sport and Kicks subcompact SUVs, which will start at $22,240 and $18,540 respectively excluding a $995 delivery charge.
The Rogue Sport increases $600 from the outgoing model, while the Kicks increases $250. The front-wheel-drive vehicles compete in the now-crowded entry crossover segment with the Rogue Sport offering optional all-wheel drive as the key differentiator.
Nissan's Rogue Sport enters its third model year as a U.S. version of the Qashqai with several enhancements, including available ProPilot Assist driver-assisting technology and Safety Shield 360 bundle, an updated audio system, and standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Nissan's Rear Door Alert that helps a driver remember rear-seat objects is now standard across the three trim grades, which include S, SV, and SL that retail for $22,240, $24,040, and $27,960 respectively. Adding all-wheel drive boosts the price by $1,350.
Nissan is offering the Kicks in three trim levels, including S, SV, and SR that will retail for $18,540, $20,250, and $20,870 excluding the delivery charge. It's still powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that helps it deliver 33 miles per gallon in highway and city driving. The Kicks arrived for the 2018 model year, and Nissan debuted it ahead of last year's Los Angeles Auto Show. Built on the V platform, it replaced the Juke that also used that platform.
