J.D. Power Names 2020 Best Resale Value Award Winners
For the 2020 program, J.D. Power assessed 270 models from the 2017 model year, examining 592,000 vehicle sales transactions between May and September of 2020.

J.D. Power has announced the results of its 2020 Best Resale Value Awards and this year Toyota and Honda lead the industry with five awards each. The best-performing vehicle overall is the GMC Sierra 3500.
When breaking down each segment individually, the vehicles with the best resale values are:

“Our transaction database shows which models have the lowest depreciation costs, hence providing consumers with a key component in the total cost of ownership of the vehicle they plan to purchase or sell,” said Jonathan Banks, vice president and general manager of vehicle valuations at J.D. Power.
