In other moves, Holman has appointed Rick Tousaw to the newly created role of chief marketing officer of Holman Enterprises and promoted Craig Balfour to vice president of marketing for Holman Automotive. Balfour is leaving ARI for the role.
Tousaw will oversee the development and execution of the organization's marketing efforts. He will continue to serve as the chief commercial officer for Holman's fleet business that includes ARI, Auto Truck Group, and Holman Parts Distribution.
He joined the organization in 2010 and has held several leadership roles, including senior vice president and general manager of ARI Canada. Prior to joining Holman, Tousaw held leadership roles with Molson Coors Brewing, Ocean Spray International, and Unilever Canada.
Balfour will be responsible for Holman's retail automotive marketing strategy in his new role for 36 franchised dealerships that represent 17 automotive brands. He leaves his role as global marketing director with ARI. Balfour spend more than seven years with ARI in various leadership roles. Prior to 2012, he held sales and marketing positions with PepsiCo and Molson Coors Brewing.
