Gasoline Falls to '13 Low, $3.26 a Gallon
The national average price of gasoline fell 2.9 cents per gallon to $3.265 for the week ending Nov. 4, reaching its lowest price point of 2013, according to federal data.

The national average price of gasoline fell 2.9 cents per gallon to $3.265 for the week ending Nov. 4, reaching its lowest price point of 2013, according to federal data.
Gasoline has fallen 22.7 cents below where it was in the same week a year ago. It has fallen 34.3 cents in the past two months. Prices have fallen in nine of the past 10 weeks.
Meanwhile, diesel fell 1.3 cents to $3.857 per gallon, according to the U.S. Department of Energy. Gasoline and diesel prices are expected to continue their decline in late 2013 toward the $3 mark due to dwindling demand and ample stocks, according to AAA. On Friday, Missouri became the first state to fall below $3 per gallon since Wyoming averaged below that mark on Feb. 7.
Each week, the U.S. Energy Information Administration surveys about 800 gasoline filling stations and 400 diesel stations to compile the national average prices. AAA also releases fuel price updates culled from daily surveys of more than 100,000 fuel stations in its Fuel Gauge Report.
