WASHINGTON –The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has posted fuel economy numbers for Chrylser’s Dodge Dart, with the Dart Aero model equipped with a 1.4 L four-cylinder engine and manual six-speed transmission getting 41 mpg highway in the EPA's official tests.
Chrysler offers three different engines for the all-new Dart, a 1.4L MultiAir Intercooled Turbo, a 2.0L four-cylinder engine, and a new Tigershark 2.4L MultiAir 2 engine. Chrysler is offering three transmission choices for its Dart models, a six-speed manual, a six-speed automatic, or a six-speed dual dry clutch (DDCT). The 2.4L Tigershark engine and the six-speed DDCT transmission will be available in the third quarter of 2012, according to the automaker.
