ITASCA, IL - EMKAY Incorporated announced its 2009 Auction Award winners at the 2010 Conference of Automotive Remarketing.
For the second consecutive year, Adesa Los Angeles was awarded Western Auction of the Year. Also in its second consecutive year, Manheim Northstar Minnesota earned the Midwest Auction of the Year. The Eastern Auction of the Year was presented to Pittsburgh Independent Auto Auction.
Greater Kalamazoo Auto Auction was recognized as EMKAY's 2009 National Auction of the Year. This is the third consecutive year that this auction has earned this distinction. Les Lynott, Manager Vehicle Remarketing for EMKAY Incorporated, stated, "EMKAY carefully chooses auction partners based upon our robust scorecarding methodology. We truly appreciate all of our 2009 auction partners, their embracement of our scorecard and their continuous efforts to maximize success on our behalf."
Lynott also commented, "Many of our auction partners performed extremely well this past year. However, all three auctions who earned a regional award had exemplary performance based upon our scorecard. As great as all of the regional award winners performed, Greater Kalamazoo Auto Auction would not be outdone and once again shined among all our auction partners."
