The volume of natural gas being sold in Brazil has increased by 6 percent in the last three months in the state of Paraná, according to Compagas.
The increasing consumption can be seen just in a few months. In July, the NGV consumption was 87,572 m³/day. In August, it reached 91,900 m³/day, and in September it rose to 92,845 m³/day, says according to the gas provider.

The natural gas consumption in the country from January through August of this year has been 12.5 percent higher than the same period last year, according to the Brazilian Association of Piped Gas Distributors.
There are currently 37 filling stations selling CNG in Paraná. The fueling stations are spread out through Curitiba, Campo Largo, São José dos Pinhais, Ponta Grossa, Colombo, Paranaguá and Pinhais. In Londrina, a facility offers natural gas supplied by Gastech. Natural gas represented 11.5 percent of all the energy produced in Brazil in 2013.
