WARRENVILLE, IL - BP, in partnership in MasterCard, is offering its BP Business Solutions MasterCard Card as a fleet card program based on incentives and security. The card allows fleet managers to set spending and usage limits by day week or cycle with limitations restricting locations, off-hour use and convenience store purchases. The highly securitized card can be controlled online, where the fleet manager monitors fraud protection, controls purchasing ability for each card and can see real-time transaction information. Fleet managers can also receive reports sorted by exception, driver, vehicle and MPG reading, among other options. Fleet managers can set prompts that ask for a vehicle or driver number to be entered or the transaction will not be completed. Prompts can also be set that ask for odometer readings to keep track of the MPG report. There is a $10 monthly fee for accounts purchasing less than 5,000 gallons of fuel a month, but that fee is waved if purchases exceed that amount. The cards are accepted at more than 14,500 BP and participating ARCO locations nationwide. Based on fleet manager approval, it is also accepted for business expenses anywhere MasterCard is accepted.
