ARI has promoted Rick Tousaw, its vice president of sales and marketing in Canada, to head ARI Canada and promoted Craig Balfour to a role similar to the one vacated by Tousaw.
Tousaw takes on the role of senior vice president and general manager of ARI Canada, while Balfour has been promoted to vice president of sales for the division.
Tousaw takes over responsibility for ARI Canada operations and reports to Chris Conroy, who was named executive vice presidents for global operations in November. Balfour reports to Tousaw.
Tousaw joined ARI Canada in 2010 as vice president of operations. In that role, he managed the ARI Canada contact center as well as client retention initiatives and sales efforts. He also developed and established strategies in areas such as vendor relations, systems development and reporting, vehicle remarketing and new product development.

Craig Balfour
Prior to joining ARI, Tousaw held positions with corporations such as Unilever, Ocean Spray and Molson Coors, where he served as area vice president.
Balfour now oversees sales-related activities in Canada and will report to Tousaw. He joined ARI Canada in December 2012 as the director of sales development. Balfour has sales and operations experience with Quaker Oats and Molson Coors in a variety of strategic business roles, including director of customer marketing strategy and revenue and vice president of logistics.
