ARI has been recognized as one of the best places workplaces in Canada, according to the fleet management company.

The company was ranked at No. 26 in 2018, and marks the second consecutive year ARI has been named to the Canadian list, ARI said in a release. The 2018 Best Workplaces in Canada list is compiled by the Great Place to Work Institute. The Institute acknowledged ARI for its collaborative atmosphere, exceptional workplace culture that emphasizes a proper work/life balance built on a foundation of inclusivity, open, two-way communication between employees and leadership, as well as trust and flexibility.

ARI was also commended for its Partners in Excellence employee engagement program, its Healthier at Holman wellness initiative, and commitment to employee development that includes full tuition reimbursement and Holman University, a comprehensive in-house educational program, the FMC said in a release.

Two-thirds of the total score for the honor comes from confidential employee survey results and the remaining one-third comes from an in-depth review of the organization’s culture. This offers a rigorous representation of the organization from an employee perspective, and an overall portrait of the workplace culture. Together, they provide crucial data relative to five trust-building dimensions: credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie.

Over 400 companies representing more than 80,000 employees participated in the 2018 “Best Workplaces in Canada” survey.
