Pricing for the fifth-generation Subaru Forester starts at $24,795 for the 2021 model year, and all trims feature new standardized safety equipment.

The 2021 Forester base trim adds LED Steering Responsive Headlights, High Beam Assist, and Rear Seatbelt Reminder with a value driven starting price of $24,795. These safety features are available on the full Forester lineup The Base trim also offers an option package with 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels in silver finish and roof rails with a value of $1,200, discounted to $600 on the Monroney label

Priced from $27,795, the Forester Premium includes the standard equipment from the Base and adds several features. For 2021, the additional features include fog lights and keyless access with push-button start. For 2021, the Premium offers a single option package, with Blind-Spot Detection w/ Rear Cross-Traffic Alert as well as a Power Rear Gate. The updated package now has an MSRP of $1,095.

With a starting price of $29,395, the 2021 Forester Sport trim also adds Blind Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert to its list of standard features. A single option package is available for the Sport trim that includes Reverse Automatic Braking; Subaru Starlink 8.0-inch Multimedia Plus system; Harman Kardon premium sound system; and a Power Rear Gate. The revised option package has a MSRP of $1,645.

The 2021 Forester Limited starts at $31,395. Along with Rear Seatbelt Reminder, the Limited trim now features a seven-speed manual mode with steering wheel paddle-shift control switches for the standard Lineartronic CVT. The 2021 Limited continues to offer option package for the same MSRP of $1,695 as last year.

Finally, the top of the line 2021 Forester Touring is priced at $34,895. The Touring offers additional standard features over Limited including Reverse Automatic Braking and the 8.0-inch STARLINK Multimedia Navigation system; Harman Kardon premium sound system; and DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System.

Aforementioned pricing does not include destination and delivery charge, which is $1,050 for 2021 Forester ($1,200 for retailers in Alaska).
