Toyota Motor Corporation has launched the all-new Aqua, a hybrid electric-only compact car offering approximately 20-percent more fuel efficiency – 35.8 km/L – than its previous generation. The Aqua is the world's first vehicle to use a high-output bipolar nickel-hydrogen battery as an electric drive battery.
