DEARBORN, MI – Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury 2006 models were among the most improved in the industry for Things Gone Wrong (TGW), according to the company’s latest Global Quality Research System (GQRS) data for the United States. The 12-percent improvement mirrors that of the overall industry during the first quarter of 2006, but doubles the rate of improvement the automaker posted for the same period a year ago. GQRS data is used to measure customer satisfaction with new Ford Motor Company and competitive vehicles as determined by the number of TGWs. Ford’s worldwide brands posted a 10 percent overall improvement.
