CEI, provider of vehicle accident and risk management, announced the newest version of its web-based application, ClaimsLink 3.0. The newest version offers expanded data, giving fleet managers more information about incident details, accident reports and subrogation statistics. The new 3.0 version of the software allows for almost-instant updates and expanded report capabilities using an Adobe Acrobat PDF viewer. ClaimsLink 3.0 also includes a “Claim Diary” that displays the life cycle of each claim. The @lerts electronic messaging feature was updated to notify fleet managers via email of new @lerts within the system and gives them access to the claim information within an @lert. The new system features a two-month archive, allowing users to approve, deny or hold decision making. Fleet managers may use the updated @lerts feature to place an @lert decision on hold for two days and see all @lerts or only those in a specific group.
