Subaru of America, Inc. is recalling an estimated 256 2019 Crosstrek vehicles because the driver's side rear-door window glass may be improperly tempered. This scenario means the glass can potentially shatter in large pieces, increasing the likelihood of injury.

To fix the problem, Subaru will notify owners, and dealers will replace the driver's side rear-door window glass, at no cost to owners.

The recall begins July 19. Owners may contact Subaru customer service at (844) 373-6614. Subaru's reference number for this recall is WUG-92.
