Wheels, Inc., Donlen, and Emkay have been selected as Chicago's Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in 2018 by the National Association of Business Resources, the independent research firm announced. The companies are based in Chicago-area neighborhoods.

This is the ninth consecutive year that Wheels, Inc. of Des Plaines has been named to the list.

"Employees feel meaningfully and personally connected to their work and the company," said Mary Formosa, vice president of human resources at Wheels, Inc.

Donlen of Bannockburn has appeared on the list for four straight years.

"We recognize that when our employees are fully engaged and satisfied, the service they provide to our customers is unmatched," said Tom Callahan, Donlen's president.

Emkay of Itasca was named to the list for the fifth consecutive year.

"We are incredibly proud of our team’s efforts to create and foster an environment in which employees can excel both personally and professionally, said Brad Vliek, Emkay's vice president of client services.

The firm evaluates companies in categories such as communication, work-life balance, employee education, diversity, recognition, and retention.

The fleet management companies will be honored on July 27 at a luncheon and celebratory presentation at the Drury Lane Convention Center in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.
