Charles J. O’Neill, a pioneer in the leasing industry, former director of the American Automotive Leasing Association, and President of The Motorlease Cor­poration, succumbed recently af­ter suffering ill health for several years. O’Neill was appointed Mo­torlease President in 1960, and served the Farmington, Connect­icut firm with memorable dis­tinction. In his 15 years with AALA, O’Neill was always an ac­tive force in the progress of fleet leasing. He was a graduate of Rutgers University and the Au­tomotive Institute. A World War II pilot, O’Neill is survived by his widow, four children, two broth­ers and a sister.
