Charles J. O’Neill, a pioneer in the leasing industry, former director of the American Automotive Leasing Association, and President of The Motorlease Corporation, succumbed recently after suffering ill health for several years. O’Neill was appointed Motorlease President in 1960, and served the Farmington, Connecticut firm with memorable distinction. In his 15 years with AALA, O’Neill was always an active force in the progress of fleet leasing. He was a graduate of Rutgers University and the Automotive Institute. A World War II pilot, O’Neill is survived by his widow, four children, two brothers and a sister.
