Nissan North America is recalling 210 2016 Nissan Rogue compact SUVs because the front-passenger seat frames may have been welded improperly, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

As a result of the defect, the vehicles don’t fully conform to all federal safety standards for head restraints and seating systems, NHTSA said. To fix the problem, dealers will replace the front-passenger seat back assembly. There will be no charge for this service.

The recall is expected to begin Jan. 8, 2018. Rogue owners can reach Nissan customer service at (800) 647-7261.
