General Motors will offer the 2015 Chevrolet City Express compact cargo van in two trim levels starting at $22,950 for the LS base model, the automaker announced.
The LS price includes a $995 destination charge, as does the City Express LT, which will carry a starting price of $24,510. The price excludes tax, title, and dealer fees. Both vans will arrive at Chevrolet dealers early in the fourth quarter.
The City Express, which is based on the Nissan NV200, is powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder engine that produces 131 horsepower and 139 lb.-ft. of torque. The compact van offers 122.7 cubic feet of cargo space and a payload capacity of 1,500 pounds.
Standard features on the LS model include dual rear sliding doors, 40/60-split rear cargo doors that open 90 and 180 degrees, solid rear doors with available tinted-glass windows, center console storage, a fold-down passenger seat that acts as a mobile workspace, 20 interior cargo-mounting points, six floor-mounted D rings, and six exterior roof rack mounting points.
The LT model adds cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity, backup sensors, remote keyless entry, and power-adjustable outside mirrors.
Options on the City Express include a technology package featuring a 5.8-inch touchscreen, navigation, satellite radio, a USA input, and rearview camera system.
