Coty U.S. in New York has put out requests for proposal to General Motors and Ford in consideration of single-sourcing its fleet. Coty Fleet Manager Frank Murdocco, who oversees the 191-vehicle fleet, says a fleet with just one vehicle make enhances the value of a vehicle in the driver’s eyes. “It puts everyone on a level playing field,” Murdocco said. “The driver doesn’t see other drivers in the company with better vehicles.” He added that one vehicle make would make it easier to spot trends in maintenance.
