William Stackhouse has been named chief operating officer of Automotive Finance Corp. (AFC). Stackhouse replaced Bradley Todd, who was promoted to president of AFC on Dec. 3. In his new role, Stackhouse will be responsible for leadership operations of AFC’s branch locations throughout North America. In addition, he will serve AFC in a strategic planning role. Stackhouse, an accounting graduate of Florida State University, began his career in vehicle remarketing with ADESA Corp. as the company’s corporate controller. In September 1997, he was promoted to chief financial officer of ADESA. In addition to his CFO duties, Stackhouse was responsible for ADESA’s corporate development activities and leading real estate and construction projects.
