Free2move has launched the fleet management platform Connect Fleet in the U.S. following success in Europe with over 20,000 customers, according to Stellantis.

A 2023 report, published by Frost and Sullivan, an international consulting firm and market research agency, shows the favorable impact it could have on the US fleet industry.

According to the report, the Connect Fleet software can optimize fleets to effectively reduce fuel consumption by 15%, reduce severe collisions by 40%, reduce the total cost of fleet ownership by 30%, and reduce the rate of vehicle immobility by 20%.

Free2move Connect Fleet is a part of the Stellantis Dare Forward 2030 plan to deploy advanced technology that enhances vehicle safety while keeping drivers informed.

Free2move hopes to fulfill customer demand for more environmentally friendly, economical, and technology-driven fleet management options for commercial fleets. Connect Fleet rollouts in the U.S. meet the requirements as the program comprehensively monitors individual fleet vehicles and shares insights with fleet managers.

"For fleet managers, it is complicated to manage unexpected vehicle breakdowns. Optimizing routes to reduce idling and maximize efficiency is, in itself, a full-time job. EV implementation adds another layer of complexity, as battery levels must be monitored and charging stations mapped. Our tool is designed to optimize all of this, creating safer, smoother, and more efficient fleets for a more sustainable world," Benjamin Maillard, general manager of Free2move North America, said.

Embedded Technology and Cost-Saving Operations

With embedded technology, Free2move Connect Fleet enables vehicle connectivity through the vehicle's built-in technology or an aftermarket dongle. The data is transmitted directly to the platform's digital dashboard.

Data is then grouped into real-time insights that fleet managers can access. GPS tracking, consumption indicators for fuel usage analysis, driving patterns analysis with coaching advice, and eco-driving tips are all offered through the Free2move Connect Fleet platform.

The comprehensive platform and app are fully customizable, catering to the specific needs of businesses.

Enhanced operational efficiencies by Connect Fleet translate directly into cost savings, with a more than 5% decrease in fleet management expenses.

Free2move's Free Trial Offer to Celebrate Launch

Connect Fleet is available in three packages: Connect Fleet One, Connect Fleet Plus, and Connect Fleet Premium.

Each package offers a suite of features, including real-time mileage and fuel consumption monitoring, mechanical and maintenance alerts, analysis of driver behavior, personalized eco-driving coaching tips, geolocation of fleet vehicles in real-time, and detailed reports on routes and downtime.

To support the launch of its new services and highlight the platform's features, Free2move is offering a free three-month trial of Connect Fleet for a maximum of 20 activated vehicles per company, up to 20,000 vehicles.
