Do you know a fleet professional who is making a difference in the industry and has been in the fleet industry for less than 10 years? Now is the time to nominate a visionary for the 10th annual Fleet Visionary Awards.
Sponsored exclusively by Merchants Fleet, the Fleet Visionary Award recognizes new voices in fleet management. The Fleet Visionary Award is open to any fleet professional with 10 years or fewer in the industry and a commercial fleet of 50 vehicles or more.
A fleet visionary is someone who has brought a new perspective to running a commercial fleet, resulting in a fleet that is more operationally efficient, cost-effective, safer, or any combination of these by introducing new methods, efficiencies, and/or technologies.
The visionary is more than someone with a good idea. They are part salesman, part number cruncher, part coach, part quarterback—able to inspire and get things done. A fleet visionary is passionate and practical.
To nominate someone (self-nominations are permitted), clearly state why the nominee is a visionary, bringing a new voice and perspective to fleet challenges in 250 words or fewer.
Last year's Fleet Visionary of the Year was Eric McCann, director of fleet sustainability and technology for Bimbo USA. He directs Bimbo USA's move from conventional fuels to sustainable energy products and introduced propane-powered vehicles to the company fleet.
Don't hesitate - nominate a Fleet Visionary today! We will honor the top 10 Visionaries, including the Visionary of the Year, at the 2024 AFLA conference, which will be held Sept. 15-18, 2024, at the La Cantera Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas.
