Michael Bieger, global fleet manager for Catholic Relief Services (CRS), has moved on to the consulting side of the industry and is working with Carl Neuberger, a 30-plus-year industry veteran, at Neuberger and Associates.

Just prior to joining CRS, Bieger was the managing partner of Black River Fleet LLC, a fleet management consulting company with work in the insurance and pharmaceutical industries.

Michael Bieger's Career

Bieger started his 28-year career in fleet in 1995 at the Swiss pharmaceutical company Hoffmann-La Roche where he was responsible for their global fleet for 10 years before moving to ADP.  As the senior director of global procurement and fleet for ADP; a position he held from December 2005 to June 2018 in Roseland, NJ, he was responsible for the corporation’s global fleet, as well as its logistics/shipping spend.

He is a past president of the Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA) serving from 2017-2018 and is a long-time member of the AFLA Board of Directors. He has served on a number of industry advisory boards, such as the GM Commercial Fleet Sounding Board, the GE Fleet Services Client Advisory Board, and the Wheels Client Steering Council.

“I am excited to get back into the world of consulting where I can bring my knowledge and expertise to bear and assist others in overcoming a new set of emerging industry challenges and opportunities,” said Bieger.
