Inspiration Mobility, the first Electrification Accelerator, has expanded its leadership team to include Claire Broido Johnson, a climate tech leader who co-founded SunEdison, as chief operating officer, and Mark Richardson, a global automotive and fleet expert, as managing director, Fleet.

Both Broido Johnson and Richardson will support Inspiration as it scales to meet increasing demand to decarbonize commercial transportation through electrification

"With Claire and Mark on board, Inspiration will continue to expand its leadership position as the go-to partner for organizations serious about making real progress towards electrification,” said Inspiration CEO Josh Green. “Claire's leadership in clean energy and operations enables us to scale more quickly to meet the surging demand from fleets of all sizes that want a single, trusted partner to deliver on their transportation decarbonization goals.”

Green continued, "The future of transportation is electric. Mark is known in both the automotive and fleet industries as an expert who creates solutions that improve both an organization’s operational and financial performance. When Mark attests that EVs, when done right, will deliver bottom line results without any additional operating risk, companies pay attention."

Innovation in Fleet Electrification

Inspiration has taken a distinctive approach to fleet electrification, setting itself apart with its singular EV Fleet Management Company offering.

Complementing this innovation is a dedicated energy division that handles installing, funding, and operating high-grade charging infrastructure for commercial purposes.

Moreover, they present a comprehensive and neutral Charging-as-a-Service solution, enabling clients to solely pay for the electric "fuel" supplied to their EVs.

Inspiration's Unique Approach to EV Solutions

To expand operations, services, and the provision of inventive solutions such as a complete EV fleet-as-a-service, Broido Johnson will collaborate closely with CEO Josh Green.

This initiative aims to deliver a more economical and dependable fleet empowered by 100% clean energy.

Broido Johnson's most recent role was COO at Fermata Energy, a vehicle-to-grid service provider.

She is recognized for co-founding SunEdison, which pioneered the solar power purchase agreement. Her tenure at the Department of Energy is also noteworthy, overseeing the distribution of $11 billion in Recovery Act funds for expanding renewable energy and energy efficiency initiatives across the United States.

With extensive experience in the automotive industry and fleet management, Richardson will lead Inspiration's sales and go-to-market endeavors.

His goal is to offer optimal electrification solutions for companies with various fleet or vehicle requirements. Prior to joining Inspiration, Richardson held a senior position as an automotive fleet client partner at Cox Automotive.

In this role, he successfully facilitated the growth of Fortune 100 corporations in both the U.S. and European markets. Richardson's professional history also encompasses several executive roles at Enterprise Holdings.

In another recent addition to the team, Loretta Prencipe, previously associated with Fermata Energy, was appointed Vice President of Marketing and Communications.

Prencipe is renowned for her award-winning strategic acumen in propelling startup brands and positioning companies for swift expansion.
